Poised Taupe is “not cool or warm, nor gray or brown, but rather a weathered, woodsy neutral bringing a sense of coziness and harmony”, according to the colour experts at Sherwin-Williams, an industry leader and the largest retailer of paint and painting supplies in the U.S. 

While shades of cool gray have dominated the world of neutral tones for the past five years, a recent homeowner survey by Sherwin Williams found that people were looking for warmer neutrals to incorporate into their home’s décor, such as warm grays, taupes and beiges.
